Excellent Upgrade

I had been using an older router that didn’t even reach all the way across my not-that-big house. This Netgear router is a major improvement with faster speeds and more control. It was easy to set up and monitor with the app. So far I am very pleased!

Easy set up, speed that works for my home. Awesome to have the app on the phone which gives me control over the WiFi network. Learned the proper jargon of network terminology like WiFi vs internet. Helped me a lot

The unit seems to overheat. I replaced one with another of the same model, which still has the same issue. And the connection randomly cuts off on one device but not on others.

Very Powerful

This new router range is much better than my old netgear. I live in a 2 story house Down stairs gets good WiFi signal. The only drawback, No switch to turn off WiFi at night. The first night I had to physically turn off the router, my head was buzzing, unable to sleep, it went away when I turned off the router. So I turned off 5g and scheduled for the WiFi to turn off at 11pm and come back on at 5:30 am. The router is up stairs, my bedroom is downstairs. So glad I found the schedule to turn it off at night.

Finally no more “poor connection”

So we finally upgraded our wifi after continuously getting “poor connection” on facetimes, not being able to make actual calls in the house, and not being able to all use the wifi at once. This new router is EVERYTHING!!! Setup was simple, the connection is fast and fantastic and I love the design of it highly recommend!
