I was having modem issues and instead of keeping my router (which was working fine), I decided to get a modem router with more channels and stable connection. So far, it has been performing more consistently than my old router. Altogether, it has been a worthy investment.

Upgraded for 1st time in 7 -8. Years, a lot. Faster no complaints, called i for tech support they were very accommodating, it’s up and running and I’m enjoying it .

Product meets basic needs

While I thought I was purchasing a router that would work with all of my equipment/laptops, after purchase I learned optimal performance via wifi is only achieved at the ac band level. There are significant speed differences when on wifi and not utilizing the ac band. Purchased the router to facilitate Wi-Fi but need to be connected via a lan connection to get optimal performance since the i7 quad core computer is not on an ac band.

Once I installed the extender, I started having internet problems. All the lights on the extender are green, but the coverage is worse, not better.
