While the setup is very cord heavy with both the modem and the router, the system itself works really well and I can access the WiFi throughout my entire apartment.

The C6300 is a nice modem/router for the money. Easy setup out of the box. Only negative found, the router only has a 2.0 USB port. It would be nice to have a 3.0 port.

Frequent disconnection 5ghz channel

I do not highly recommend this router. Since day 1 that I bought the equipment it took me several times to reset it to its factory settings and have restarted the router every other day because our connection to 5ghz always getting disconnected. I reached technical support through chat so many times and they will send you these technical support documents guide to troubleshoot the problem despite requesting for a replacement. It is very frustrating to go through all these technical details so many times and still they not able to find a solution.
