Slower service

I purchased this modem to increase reliability and consistency while gaming and streaming. My speed was never an issue. Comcast is my service provider. Ever since I switched my speed is 20-25% of what it was from the Comcast gateway. Comcast tells me it is the modem. The modem says it can handle up to 450mbs on 2.4ghz and 1.3gbs on 5.0ghz. I’m lucky to pull 50mbs currently on a speed test. My speed was 250-300mbs thorough the Comcast supplied gateway. Not impressed. I checked with Comcast to make sure this device was compatible and could handle the speed requirements. I have looked on forums and tried to change settings. Nothing helps. A reboot gives me higher speeds for a day then back to 20-25% of normal. I’m at a loss.

The Nighthawk AC1750 w/wifi 5 is a really great router. Strong signal and very efficient. Always works with the multiple devices without loss of connection. Simple navigation app to set specific needs to anyones expectations. This is one router I can recommend.

2.4 GHz dont work

I have to return it because the 2.4 GHz don’t work with only less of 3 month after buy it.

My Netgear Router was easy to install and performs beautifully. Love the fact I own my equipment and am not paying a monthly rental fee to the cable company. This high quality router has provided excellent service and freedom.
