We had fiber optic service installed in February. Our NETGEAR cable router would not work with the fiber optic service. It provided great service so we decided to purchase another NETGEAR product. Very pleased with our purchase!

Great Gaming Router!

One of the best routers I have ever owned to date. I can game on several devices and watch how to tutorials in HD all on the same wifi without the internet dropping. The nighthawk app could use some updates for an easier UI, other than that. I highly recommend this router for streaming and gaming!

Makes WiFi unusable

The product takes over me existing WiFi connection and prevents me from using the normal WiFi signal. It makes it hard to connect to the WiFi coming through the extension and then drops WiFi signal within 30 minutes of connecting to it. It is impossible to use to play video games or stream you will get kicked out of your game and your stream will be dropped. I have looked at reviews and everything seemed good so maybe I have a defective product? Anyway 1/5
