We had the standard WiFi set-up from our internet provider. We needed a stronger, wider-range router for our live-streaming at church. Our new NETGEAR AC 1750 Smart WiFi Router works great!

Cheap but not great

I bought this router to replace a similar model that I had used in my house for a few years. These routers have issues staying connected over wifi even though anything that is wired to the router continues to get service. Very unreliable in an age where many people work from home.

It’s Ight but still doesn’t manage to reach my moms room as good for some reason. Even though I’m on the 2.4ghz which says it’s a wider range.

Seems to be what I wanted

Fantastic out-of-box service, but seemed to become very sporadic after one week. Connectivity and bandwidth dropped significantly with periodic reboots seeming to help somewhat. Jury is still out on this with no understanding of the sporadic behavior.
