Really needed a router that would get the job done. The range on this one is fantastic. I can go downstairs and outside of my home and still get a strong signal.

I purchased this model 4 years ago for myself. I have loved it from day one! My daughter was in the need of a router so I purchase this for her as well. She has been extremely happy with it. This is very easy to set up and is very dependable.

Can cause some problems

When I first bought this it work great for a month but after that it has given me some issues. My WiFi drops quite a few times throughout the day and I can not even get 5g to work. I pay for 100 mbps but speedtesr reads are anywhere from 2 to 40. I do live in a condo so that could be causing some issues. WiFi gets real slow when I’m running multiple devices at a time. I gave it three stars because I think the nighthawk app is the best thing ever.

This is my first Netgear router, and I must say I am impressed with the set up. The routers log in page is very user friendly and easy to navigate.
