Great router - GAMBLER

Went from a regular spectrum router to this and also from a WiFi router and modem combo and this is by far the best change I’ve noticed in a lot of different categories mostly with gaming and downloading

After six days of effort I was unable to get this device to a satisfactory level of performance. Unable to switch from bridge mode back to gateway mode; when in bridge mode, unable to see modem performance data; Attached Devices list and Access Control really non-intuitive operation; and the killer, unable to set Domain Name Server service IP.

Easy set up

Not as good as Xfinity WiFi performance

I bought this for increased speed and range for my in-law suite about 50 ft from the house. Right next to the router, I got 300 mbps with xfinity router and only 90 mbps with netgear router. At 50 ft I got equal performance at about 45 mbps. Though streaming Netflix had constant buffering with game console at 50 ft. I do get the extended range past that but no speed benefit.

Cannot use new browser to get to config. can only use IE and even then I cannot get regular access to my config. using with spectrum/charter Config is so slow its unusable. continued prompts for credentials. cannot get in to router to make congif changes.....just plain awful. Wish I would not have purchased
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Setup was ok but not as easy as promoted. No noticible increase in download or upload speeds vs standard cable tv router. Returned it and bought eero pro. Much happier. Practically set itself up and I’m seeing the speed increase I wanted as well as the range.

Not satisfied with this product. Could not even use it after numerous attempts to connect using the provided password on my TV. To make matters worse your support team did not attempt to assist, could not relate or understand what my problem was and did not provide me with a solution although I received apologies at least 8 times which was too condescending. Ended returning it and got another router from another company and it is working perfect!

Great modem Router although it drops sometimes

Great Modem Router the family loves it. I particularly like the additional bands. That frees up the congestion that occurs when many devices are running and streaming; at times the device drops the net, bit wifi is still present! Go figure, but We love it. Will buy another.
