EX6250 WiFi Extender

Perfect addition for new demands caused by Covid crisis! Bought this to extend the WiFi strength in my colonial home when my college ages children and my wife and I all had to start working and studying remote due to Covid restrictions put in place at our companies and the universities. The added demand put on our home WiFi network due to everyone running zoom meetings and other remote activities, along with the need for everyone to be in different locations of the house for privacy etc. quickly highlighted the need to boost the signal strength so everything would work as seamlessly as possible. We ended up plugging this extender in on the second floor to extend strength to the bedrooms and an upstairs office since most of us were working remotely there during the day now. I’m happy to say the device is working flawlessly and was extremely easy to install and add to our network. I simply added the nighthawk app to my iPhone and followed the instructions! Very simple! I don’t typically leave reviews for things I purchase but this extender has been a game changer for our home so I wanted to drop a note about it in case others are in the same situation and might need added signal strength in their home from added demands caused by Covid quarantine restrictions. Don’t waste your time

This was a waste of both time and money. It’s not easily link to a Netgear night hawk router then when finally done it doesn’t boost signal much more than without it.

Solved the problem for a difficult house

This piece of hardware helped create a seamless WiFi experience for my parents (who struggle with technology). Their house always had dead spots and prior extenders required manually switching WiFi connections. The Netgear product created a seamless experience that is powerful enough to capture the entire home.
