I just got this router because my older one crapped out on me. It runs all the speeds I need for gaming an streaming movies. I love it an I would buy again!

Works Ok so far.. I live in an older home, some drywall some plaster walls. Not getting a full signal everywhere but at least getting a signal in all areas. Although never a full signal anywhere in the house even when standing right next to the router.

NETGEAR ac1750 wifi mesh extender

Seems like it is working ok, it’s hard to tell for sure as the extender has the same network name as the router. On my old extender it was clear that you were connecting to the extender. I had a hard time getting it to set up as I have with my last two netgear products and had to call support. I tried several times with netgear app and wps both failing to connect. The tech Anna was very helpful. The extender connected on the 2ghz channel which I’m not thrilled about but don’t have the will to try and fix it at this point. The app would not allow me to connect to only one channel initially which I could do on my old extender. I haven’t tried to connect outside yet because of weather but that is where I usually see the difference. Despite these difficulties we continue to buy netgear because once it is set up, they seem to work well.

This router has exceeded my expectations and provides my whole family with high-speed internet. If you want a better one than this one, get the XR500 or even better, the XR1000.

How I Feel About the Extender

The extender works very nicely. I noticed that the wifi runs a lot faster and more smoothly in areas that the wifi didn’t reach very good. Very happy with this product.
