Nighthawk rocks!

This is the second Nighthawk unit I’ve owned. They are hands down the best. I had the last one for 5 years. The only reason I got a new one is because of repeated power flickers with a past storm we had (power went in and off like 7 times in a row). I have up to 20 devices at a time attached to this unit via WiFi and NEVER have problems!

Frustrating set up

The product seems to work well so far as I’ve only had it 5 days. It added an additional Ethernet port centrally in my house to allow the camera to have a stronger WiFi signal. Now while the product seems to work well, the setup was terrible. It offers 2 ways to set it up. The app crashed every time during set up. I used multiple devices with the app and restarted my devices to attempt to set up the network. The second option was using WPS. Neither option worked and required being on hold for over 2 hours to discuss with a support representative. I was absolutely not happy with the setup of the device or the support. Also not it wasn’t support that fixed it. It was Google searching to identify a 3rd means to a setup.

I have had several extenders over the years, including Netgear and none worked as well as the EX6250, none. Any were in my large house there are no dead spots and all have 5 bars of signal.

Work Exactly As Advertised

The setup was simple with easy to follow step-by-step instructions. I live near the airport where my wifi signal gets interrupted frequently. NETGEAR EXTENDER has kept my wifi signal strong. I no longer have issues with online streaming. I recommend this product 100%. Dont cheat yourself treat yourself to an amazing wifi experience.
