Reliable so far

Have had this one for a couple months now and so far it’s been reliable. Although my little sister and I use zoom for school and it does lag at times.

Functional, but not much more

We had high expectations for this modem router, but the best I can say is that it usually works. Our speed is slower than the 3yr old modem and router it replaced. The app continually tells me that the firmware needs to be updated, and the Netgear rep told me we need to contact our ISP about that. iSP says it’s the correct version. Honestly, I’m tired of sitting on phones and on hold trying to make it work. Haven’t decided yet what I’ll do.

Great WiFi router and easy installation...once you upload their app to your cell phone. Only crit; there could have been a better description/explation that you need to have a cellphone and use their app to do the setup. No alternative instruction in the box. Could not have set it up without the app!. Good product, bad business/marketing strategy.

I used this router because I was tired of using the basic router I got with my ISP. I was tired of not being able to change settings myself and constantly having to call them to open ports and whatnot. Then I saw this router one day while buying a new gaming headset and I haven’t regretted it since. Beautiful UI, a ton of features, ability to turn off the internet connection from the tv in the other room, it has it all. I would definitely recommend. The bandwidth booster and traffic monitor are great as well. This router is great for anyone, not just gamers
