Great Router

This was a good price and it is a good router. We needed a new one and this was a great one. Easy to hook up and much faster internet as soon as it was ready.

Does as advertised

Fairly simple to set up, but it does take some time. Set it up when you have time to be undisturbed for at least an hour or so. The parental controls (Disney Circle built in) take a while to figure out. It is limited on school issued chromebooks as their security protocols override home parental controls eventhough the home parental controls are tighter. You also have to pay for the Disney Circle parental controls app for a yearly/monthly subscription. Disney circle needs to change some things like not showing advertisement URLs on an allowed web site. They also need to show the friendly url, not the host site or IP address.

It was easy to install and has worked fine. I did not need to install the app on cell phone before installing which was the first step in the directions.

Home WIFI Extender

NETGEAR AC1750 WiFi Mesh Extender was purchase to help with WiFi dead spots I had in my house which is a very large rancher with multiple rooms. Centrally placed extender, now the whole house, every room has very good coverage. WIFI speed test shows my data through put has greatly increased. Even my basement now has a good WIFI signal. Easy setup. Would definitely recommend.
