Hard to connect at@t router

Still haven’t been able to hook it up I don’t have a laptop just chrome book so I couldn’t hard wire it and when I contacted the company they called me and wanted into my chrome book to look inside I said no I don’t trust that so I think I’m gonna have to take it back it’s only been a week

I bought a the net gear AC1750 router and a net gear modem when I switched my wifi service. I am technologically illiterate, and the set up was easy, and my kids are no longer experiencing slow or interrupted service.
