Big time upgrade if you have not done so in awhile

Was running a much smaller netgear router that was only up to N instead of AC capabilities. This AC1750 has a stronger signal, more stable connection and its nice being able to link all of the smart home devices on the 2.4ghz band and then dedicate the devices that are used more frequently to the 5ghz band.

The Boost We Needed

Our connected home infrastructure needed a boost the NETGEAR AC1750 Smart WiFi Router and the CM700 Mode, gave us the extra speed and reliability we were looking for should have done it sooner

Poor signal. When I am sitting next to the router I only get a signal in the "good" range at best. In other parts of my house the signal is in the "poor" range. Cannot stream videos. Thinking about returning it.
