Powerful alternative

I have recently replaced my Verizon Fios router with the ac1750 and the difference was noticeable instantly. My range of coverage and the strength of connection is demonstrably better. I have two kids streaming shows a good portion of the evening and my design business relies on my ability to transfer large 3D modeling files to customers on schedule with no issues. This has been a definite upgrade and will make our internet usage a little smoother here in our house.

Setup was a little difficult. My son is reporting dropped signals periodically. Speeds are good.

I really like this router, it handles everything, we have xfinity cable at 150 mps and it works wonderfully with it. I really like Netgears genie app also. I can customize parental controls for every device and keep my grandson out of unwanted (in my eyes) internet areas. Its a wonderful router.
