Added this wireless router to my home network, when before was using only a “N600” cable modem w/ wireless capabilities. The setup took about five minutes, and only had to reconfigure a couple of my devices. 2.4/5ghz wireless speeds almost doubled, and Ethernet connections doubled as well. The app has good information and help with many features. Only beginning to scratch the surface. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

I’m a gamer who currently still lives with family, during the midday hours before switching I would endure spike after spike of lag during gameplay. After switching to my new NETGEAR router, I’ve only lagged once and I believe it was the host’s fault not my own connection. Moral of the story? Buy this product if you’re a gamer.

Great router but not so easy to set up. I would have given 5 stars but for the difficulty setting it up. Instructions are non-existant and all should be automatic. It took forever to find a phone number for tech support but when called they walked me through it in15 minutes.
