Replaced my linksys with the netgear. If you follow the directions it could not be easier. The performance is matches the high end linksys but a bit less expensive.

1 yr router

I bought this router the first time about one yr ago. It stopped working recently. So hopefully the second one will last longer.

unable to activate

I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with tech support. Unable to get it to work. Come to find out the blue and yellow cables need to be plugged into the Opposite ports. Yellow into the Blue and the Blue into the Yellow. This is some kind of defect from the manufacture. The tech Zen and the Tech from ComCast were most helpful in fixing this issue. It was a total of 4 1/2 hours to fix so I could use my router.
