WiFi Obliterator

Before I started using this device, my 10 year old laptop had a little trouble getting a WIFI signal at the far end of the house. With the Extender turned on, WIFI frequently fails. Newer devices also started having trouble. The only positive is that I am able to get a good wired connection from the device to a desktop. I should contact support, but time is precious.

An overpriced piece of plastic that’s connected to my wall. It does not work. I would rather chuck it into the ocean so it may end up in the pacific garbage patch.. WHERE IT BELONGS.

Plug it in and forget

This is by far the easiest WiFi extender I’ve ever set up. Just plug in and use night hawk app to configure. The device is tiny and plugs directly into an outlet, no wires to mess with. I placed my extender in another house about 100 feet away from the main router - signal increased from 0-1 bars to full bars.

Functions great

I prefer not to load all sorts of apps on my phone. Trying to set this up on the computer was a real pain. I ended up setting it up on my phone then removing the app. The phone app was easy but so was the computer website one for my older Netgear extender. Wish the new one had the same option.

Reliably fast router

Super easy setup and installation. The web portal to configure the settings is also easy and intuitive to use. The USB 3.0 port is nice if you ever want to connect a hard drive to set up a file server. Connects to my NetGear Wi-Fi extender no problem. Would recommend 9/10.
