Definitely a good purchase

Router has been very good. Recently I had to do a factory reset and reinitialize when connecting to my new ISP modem but otherwise no issues.

This is the best affordable router/modem anyone could get. It’s really fast I get full three bars from all the rooms of my house even in my backyard. I would advise everyone to buy this modem. It’s extravagantly the best one out there. Thank you Netgear!!!

Powerful upgrade

The XR300 proved to be an excellent upgrade to my previous router. The router instantly improved the wifi distance in our 2-story house; our household members no longer complain about drops in internet connection or slow buffering times. For wired devices, there were no hiccups in the connection during long gaming sessions. Overall a superb router with consistent results; I would highly recommend this product to both gamers and casual users.

Has the ability to select a clear channel and has 2 bands to choose from. Produceds the communication path with good range throughout the house and garage to connect everything that we are adding to WIFI. More things connecting require communication paths throughout the house and garage that work!

Setup involved

Router works good, however while originally setting up it requires you to check for updates. Shouldn’t a new router come updated? Then it r we ouldnt complete the update and froze the app on my iPhone. Was never able to complete the update, but router appears to work fine..
