Quick and Easy

Install was easy. Surprised I had accumulated 10 devices over the years. My old router quit after 6 years. Android, Apple, and Windows XP products. Almost forgot the direct-connect phone modem. Good throughput, even though I am not a gamer and rarely am concerned with speed. Easy to shut down GUEST function when relatives are not in town. And moving from 2gHz to 5gHz lets me escape being co-channeled with neighbors.

After much research on gigabit WiFi routers I settled on the NETGEAR AC 1750. I am very please with the ease of installation and configuration of this router and the performance I am experiencing. This Wired/WiFi router performs the job I needed it to do. The NetGenie dashboard gives me an overall look at my network and allows me to easily configure any changes I want to make. Couldn't have made a better choice.

Great home router

This router has been great. We have only ever owned Netgear routers. We decided to upgrade because we have so many wifi things that our lesser router wasn't cutting it. This one is amazing. We have a ps3, ps4, wii, 2 phones, 3 tablets, a desktop, 2 laptops, and a printer connected to the wifi. We can have several of these running at the same time and it doesn't slow us down at all. Best investment in a router we have made!

After having tried 2 other routers and living in a rural area, we finally chose Netfear and have had our best experience with WiFi in 25 yrs. it's amazing to have such a great product when we've done without for so long. We no longer have to wait for our emails to send or upload, we can watch movies due to fast streaming video...it's changed our lives making it easier to do business from home as well. Thanks Netgear!

Reliable Router

Had a Netgear AC1900 router that worked great for many years, maybe required three reboots a year, fine by me. It died suddenly one day, so I replaced it with the comparable AC1750 model which was cheaper and had better reviews, we'll see if this one does as well as the last one. I am satisfied, these wifi routers stream content to multiple TVs, computers & phones throughout the house and even garage & yard without issues.

Glad I didn't need a mesh router for $$$!

This is serving as wi-fi for a two story, 2500 sq ft home. Good coverage throughout. No dropouts. Easy setup. Speed and bandwidth have been good despite having 2 or 3 of our five kids online at the same time. Just using the basic functionality. I haven't used any of the special features. I recommended that my sister buy one. She did, and she's had no problems with it in her home. I think it's a good value in a midrange router.

The router overall is amazing it's well put together and I love the 5Gh as a second connection it really boosts your connection and makes it so much easier to load websites and if you watch YouTube makes it amazing for video streaming as well as gaming. The router takes gaming to a whole new level and I love it I used to have awful connection but ever since I got the router it runs amazing at an amazing speed especially on pc games

AC1750 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R6400)

I have been using Netgear routers since 1997. My 10 year old RangeMax needed to be replaced to achieve the bandwidth now available from my ISP [Comcast]. With a minimum of research it was clear that the R6400 was my best cost/benefit value. Easy setup via browser, 2.4 and 5 GHz speed and good coverage for a 2 story 3,000sf house. P.S. The Macintosh version of the Netgear Genie app is a little buggy on OSX 10.11.6 so I don't use it.
