Do NOT buy. Startup is easy, and it connects to ISP just fine. BUT - the router is very flakey when you have several devices requesting data from different Internet sources simultaneously, or if you open a webpage containing many advertising sources.

Losses connection

This modem that is recommended by xfinity losses internet connection daily. Told it had to be reconfigured, which Netgear charges $$$$

Netgear Router 1750

On day one after purchasing the router we had to call the assistance hot line, to my surprise the wait wasn’t very long. Unfortunately I did not jot name down but a male person in California assisted us with making sure all wiring from computer, modem and router were done correctly and then helping us with all steps on the computer. Your technician was very knowledgeable, and very patient with us as our computer knowledge is limited. This person did not let us go until all was working and then for us to ask any questions. His patience was over and beyond. Think all personnel in this area for a great job and being understanding.

My house is complete, with WiFi

I haven’t been able to use my smart tv, or any internet device in the back of my home for 3years. I have known about range extenders but I didn’t think I had an outlet in a good location to boost the signal to the back end bedrooms. I figured whatever was interfering with out signal would still interfere. I got this as a gift for Christmas and figured I may as well try it. My home has joined modern times. There are zero dead zones in my house now. It’s like I went from a pager to a smart phone over night. Needless to say, I am happy with my “purchase”. Thanks for making great products Netgear.
