Its too early to fully judge, but the early signs show that it is a definite upgrade instructions were good, but to set up, it does require phone conversations with both your ISP and Netgear.

since i got this it has been a very good router and it’s kept a stable connection for gaming and streaming shows or movies with no interruptions.

Constantly Dropped WiFi Connection

I installed this unit with my cable service, internet only. The WiFi constantly dropped service throughout the day. The unit was not overloaded, as only 2 computers were connected over WiFi at one time. Searching the internet found that this was a known issue with this router for several years, and still has not been fixed. Replaced with a different brand, and WiFi connection works flawlessly. Stay away from this router - history of poor performance.

Cant handle load

Cant handle load of multiple devices in a family home as the box depicts. Best if used for one device and one device only.
