Does Not Last Long

Length of ownership:1 year or longer
I purchased it in July 2019. Since the end of Aug 2020 I constantly lose internet connectivity. Mine started acting up one year and one month after the date of purchase. Of course the warranty is only for one year. I've never had a router crap out on me so quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

C6300 Modem and Router

I have used this modem and router for years and it continues to perform without any issues. If you’re looking to get away from your cable companies modem this is a perfect solution! Easy setup and east to use!

I bought this because of so many dead spots in my WiFi. Once I installed it...no more dead spots! I even have WiFi outside. Highly recommended.

I had to update my wifi extender because my old one stop working. And let me tell you it was probably the best thing ever. Because now my internet runs so much smoother. And it also makes it one wifi instead of three different ones which is great with the mesh tech. Best upgrade I’ve done so far.

Very disappointed

I purchased this for my new internet service since I didn’t want to rent one from my internet provider. Once I had my internet set up I tried to set my alarm system and the modem had a setting that would not let my alarm connect... called Netgear and was in the phone for about 45 minutes and the person helping me told me I had to call the Internet provider and he couldn’t do anything.... returned it to the store got a different brand and it all a works now.

Don’t buy

Have been having nothing but problems with my internet since we installed netgear. Would not recommend. Also, the nighthawk app doesn’t work either. Very upset about this product. Going to try to return.

The router is fast and simple to set up, it has been pleasing considering the price of it. There have been times where it has been inconvenient but they were easily solved.
