WiFi is device dependent

I've had this device for just under a year and have been having problems with connectivity and throughput, which continued after moving the router closer to the TVs, which had the biggest problem. I have 300 Mbps cable service. I got the Ookla Speedtest app and learned that my Ethernet is running at ~340 Mbps (great!). WiFi download speeds were all over the map, depending on the device.

--- 6th Gen iPad - 325.3

NETGEAR Cable Modem Router

The router works great. It was easy to set up and supports my homes internet and WiFi use perfectly. I don’t have to pay a monthly equipment rental fee from my service provider! The NETGEAR app is an added bonus. I was having trouble connecting to my service the other day, but with the app and some patience, I got reconnected in no time! Very happy with my NETGEAR product.

It took a long time to get hooked up including over one hour on the phone with my internet provider Comcast. My printer disconnects itself indicating I dont have internet service.

Decent router

Its ok but sometimes devices seem to disconnect from the 5ghz. Speeds are also all over the place
