I had an older NETGEAR since 2017 and wanted to upgrade to EX6250. After several installations without success, I returned the unit.

I bought this to help with coverage in my 2 story home. I have Xfinity 5g modem and needed the extender to provide wider coverage. It’s not doing what it’s supposed to do. Signal is still weak.

Circle/Nighthawk App Issues

It seems to work good at times. The guest band seems to come in and out at times. It also is disturbing the integrated circle filter. Which is causing the circle app not to work properly. I have had issues with the netgear nighthawk app before however it seems to really not function properly with the extender.
I am probably going to have to reset the router again in hopes it will go back to functioning properly.

Have had this router for few years now works pretty well. Service gets disconnected when streaming through Chrome cast. Disconnect only last few seconds. Not sure why it happens.
