Netgear AC1750 Router works great

We set up our AC1750 router easily, and it works great with the fiber internet our provider uses. For added security we have the Armor firewall which already found a vulnerability in our Blu-Ray player. We like being able to see what's going on with the Firehawk app. So far it is working so well we don't even think about how it is doing its job.

Netgear Nighthawk: The Best Gaming Router

I recently purchased a Netgear Nighthawk router and my gaming experience has been changed forever. The ease of setup for the router is unparalleled and I was able to get online minutes after opening the box. The speed and range of my wifi connection is at least double what it was before and the Nighthawk app lets me manage every device connected to the router seamlessly. In a shared-space household with multiple other tenants living with me, this is very convenient as I can change my wifi password and settings with the tap of a button. I switched to Nighthawk and I don’t think I’m ever going back!

Pretty good, but finicky

Overall serves the purpose for home modem/router for basic Wi-Fi needs. Just a few devices. Within the first 6 months of owning it, I had to restart it a couple times to get it to work. Not a big deal. Put it away for a while, reinstalled it in the new home. Struggled and struggled and unfortunately had to do a full factory reset to get it to emit a 2.4GHz signal, to be compatible with home smart devices. It was actually a huge hassle to figure out why the 5G signal wasn’t connecting to the devices, and to call the internet provider only to figure out there was no issue on their end…but I digress. When it works, it works great. But would think about a different model/brand in the future.
