Disappointing

The product worked fine for 8 months, then the WIFI portion stopped. I tried various fixes - rebooting, different cables, calling my network provider. Finally I called NetGear. They did an online check - product by this time was out of 3-month warranty - and said, everything is fine, it's not Netgear's problem, check your provider, which I had already done. I ordered a Motorola router/modem, plugged it in and immediately had WIFI and all the rest. Motorola also has a two year warranty as opposed to Netgear's 3-month one.

This netgear is definitely among the best I’ve ever purchased. I love not only the design with the simplistic yet aggressive approach on the hardware. I love the app which allows you to adjust settings to your liking and it also puts you in. Complete control of your network . I can go on but I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade in their networking system . You won’t be disappointed

Allows for lots of control

Very much impressed with Netgear AC1750 Smart WiFi router. It allows me to see what devices are connected, alerts of malicious sites being accessed, and to pause or block WiFi from certain devices. I like the parental controls, which is through Circle. I am still figuring that portion out. Very pleased with my purchase.

Faster than my Xfinity modem

I spent multiple calls with Xfinity to replace my router. Was sent and charged for a coaxial cable and no router. So I ordered the netgear AC1750 and can't be happier. It's quicker than my old modem and has 2 channels that it broadcasts. the standard broadcast and the 5g channel. It can also be setup to broadcast guest channels for each through the router settings. I would highly recommend this cable modem.
