I initially bought an Arris cable modem/router and had nothing but issues from the start. Went with this Netgear unit and was set up within 15 minutes. Works with Xfinity, no issues at all.

I recently purchased the NETGEAR® AC1750 WiFi Cable Modem Router (C6300). This Modem has an amazing lightning fast speed and a very long range Wi-Fi connection. I would recommend this Modem to anyone who is looking for an all in one Modem/ Router. It will have you more than satisfied with its performance and high tech platform.

Disappointing

The product worked fine for 8 months, then the WIFI portion stopped. I tried various fixes - rebooting, different cables, calling my network provider. Finally I called NetGear. They did an online check - product by this time was out of 3-month warranty - and said, everything is fine, it's not Netgear's problem, check your provider, which I had already done. I ordered a Motorola router/modem, plugged it in and immediately had WIFI and all the rest. Motorola also has a two year warranty as opposed to Netgear's 3-month one.
