Great customer service!

Called NETGEAR when I was having difficulty getting my new router up and running. Customer service person was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient while coaching me thru the setup. He also connected me directly to Xfinity for the final connection and it worked! The only area I’m having issues with right now are my two WiFi boxes that are in addition to my Xfinity cable box. Do you have any recommendations to keep them up and running? They’re very finicky—thank you!

Poor wifi range

My router only sits about 20 ft 25 ft at the very most from my wireless TV and it struggles to keep a signal the application is frustrating to use it has a lot of crashes sometimes I'm not even able to sign in it'll give me an error message saying that routers not in range or it's not connected. I wouldn't recommend this router to anybody. I'm currently looking for something better.

Great Features

The AC1750 Wi-Fi modem and router replaced my previous Netgear router due to a fall from the top shelf of our entertainment center. Moving the cabinet and it fell, with the heavy shelf causing it to break. The AC1750 has added features that made it the perfect choice for Mediacom internet. Easy to program, dependable, secure!!

No instructions!

The router works fine, but it didn't come with instructions. So, since my old router had failed (long story), I had to call Netgear, wait on the phone for a while, then install the router following the tech's instructions. She was great, but still, written instructions would have been less time-consuming.
