Setup and startup

The Netgear AC1750 was a little tricky to set up, but once I figured out what they were looking for, it set up quickly.
The dual channels are great for speed versus distance tradeoffs and both work great across the house.

Dead on arrival

My router was dead on arrival. The DNS (dynamic naming service) function of the router fails, whether it is set to get the DNS servers from the ISP or if they are set manually. Was able to get the internet talking, but had to set the DNS locally on each device (PC, phone) to allow it to get out to the internet end points. The router can and should provide the DNS settings as a part of the network connection functionality for any personal device connecting to it, and it doesn't.

A very nice router with the power for my needs.,Very easy to set up and the accompanying app is very nice. The ability to set up a guest use is something I’ve never had before and is really nice. As always the auto security feature is convenient. Very happy
