Works alright, app is weird

The router itself seems to work fine. The setup with the app is a bit strange, it requires you to create an account with Netgear. But you can also set up without that, just connecting to the router's web site; so it's the user's choice.

Could be better

Speeds are said to be high and I have a 800 mbps plan but only get about 180-200

Good value

I replaced an Apple AirPort Extreme with this router. Performs all the same functions and has a greater Wi-Fi speed with the 5ghz radio. So far, I haven’t been able to use time capsule to use the attached USB hard drive as a backup drive. Maybe after I fiddle with it some more it’ll serve as a time capsule file server as well.

Keep going in and out randomly

Clear and easy to understand instructions. Download the App and follow the instructions. The only thing that required any patience was dealing with the ISP.
