Great router

I’ve had this router for a couple of years and as long as you do the updates routinely, even if you have it set on auto, you should check your updates anyway. This router covers my entire 1800 square-foot house.

Easy to setup and great range

It took only a few minutes to setup using the Nighthawk app on my phone. The range is good in my 3 story 1,200 ft^2 townhouse. I get the full the 200 MBPS throughout my house that my internet provider outputs.

Good router, bright lights, lame app

The router works fine, setup was easy. The app was unimpressive, failed setup, constant annoying and self-promoting notifications, do yourself a favor and set the router up manually. The indicator lights on the front of the device are ridiculously bright, I put electrical tape over them which dimmed them sufficiently, but don't worry, you'll still be able to read them through the tape. All in all, the price was right and the router works fine.
