I installed a New Netgear Router on 9/22/2022. I used the Nighthawk App to install my new Router. I have never installed a router before my new Netgear Router. But using the App it was easy to do.

Solid Wireless Modem/Router

For the price, I think this is a solid device. The admin interface is also easy to understand and easy to use right out of the box. Custom configuring was also easy to do.

Dependable Connectivity

My internet provider is pretty unreliable, with frequent dropouts. With my previous setup of a separate modem and router, when the modem even briefly lost connectivity, I would have to reboot the router, which was really annoying. This modem router combo is able to recover full connectivity automatically, without rebooting anything, which is great.

It Kinda Worked

It started working when we were finally able to get the setup completed. However, it's supposed to offer both the 2.4 and 5 gigahertz. The 2.4 showed up when we initially set up, but it disappeared. We needed to have both. We restarted it with no success. We sent it back and started using our MG7550. We will replace it if it starts acting up again.
