It works...

Hi I would have to say, yeah this does what it says it will do but it is not the end all be all as I thought it would be. I mean it works...yeah but I thought it would be like wow!!! I purchased the more expensive one since my home is about 3,000 sq ft. And I wanted my kids to be able to log on for distance learning while I also work from home due to COVID we were able to. But could have done the same thing with the Xfinity modem you know.

Latest firmware update causing router to crash constantly. Even reverted to previous firmware versions without any improvement.

Firmware Issues

I have 1 gig internet. This router would only pull 260ish max. Had to get a new one to actually get the speed I wanted. Researched and it seems there is firmware issues now for this router. Beware.

Old modem maybe

My service keeps cutting in and out. I’ve reached out to my ISP and troubleshoot. The single shows strong, but the download speed always shows 0. Mins

Small package filled with endless possibilities

I have never had a router packed with so many features! The possibilities are endless. Remote monitoring, VPN, Ability to turn wifi off for certain devices, etc... all in love this product.

Somewhat disappointed

I gave 3 stars because I’m a bit disappointed that I am unable to view devices that are running on my network. I’m not sure if it’s an app issue or the device itself. I had another NETGEAR device and had issues which I will post that review in its appropriate category. Other than the app possibly not working correctly I am happy so far with the device.

Does it’s job

It’s definitely one of the better modem/routers I’ve had. I love that it has an app for control. The app does stop working or lock me out pretty often but I love it otherwise.
