Fast setup out of the box. Just needed to get the app for my internet provider to make the process of activating the modem/router smoother. Better security than my older modem/router combo and this signal seems very strong and consistent.

It was way overdue to replace our old router...after reading many reviews this Netgear Router seemed like the one to get and our local cable company confirmed it. By far the most reliable and best performing router for todays streaming world. All our devices and streaming services work perfectly and most importantly reliable!! Easy to install and setup yourself with their handy app. Would buy this one again!

Netgear really keeps the compation on their Toes. They are always developing the most up-to-date product on the market. This is why I haven't bothered using anything else on the market. You don't stray from a top of the industry leader to a third rank hopefully it might be good enough company. Every time I suggest switching from what they are using to a Netgear product, they just can't believe what a difference it has made for them. No more connectivity issues or dropping connections during the most inconvenient times, when they needed to be connected the most. If you are having issues getting to the internet and are just feed up it all. Do yourself a huge favor and switch to Netgear, you won't regret it in the least. But on the other hand, you live for frustration and thrive on it. Then you shouldn't switch. If you're one of those people who have more money then you know what to do with and enjoy paying a monthly fee to rent from your provider, then this wouldn't be something you would be interested in getting. On the other hand Most all of the Major Internet Companies, support Netgear products, even suggest using them, if your tired of renting.

It works but not like it should work

It is a Wi-Fi cable modem router and it is convenient there is all those things in one and it is supposed to output both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. You can disable whichever of the two you want or leave them both enabled but the 2.4 GHz band does not work. There's a design flaw in this router because other people who bought this router have had the same issue. But for 5 ghz, it works just fine.

Easy to set up and connect all devices including Smart TV's and three Firesticks. Fast, high-speed internet connection throughout a 2500 sq. ft. home. Would buy again!
