Absolutely thrilled with ease of set up and changing network name, etc. My old router kept dumping the Internet multiple times a day and I haven’t had an issue with this new one. 5/5 stars ✨

Overall Poor Performance

3 techs and 3.5 hours on the phone to get it up and running. Now I have a 25Mbps download speed on the 2.4 GHz WiFi and a 17Mbps download speed on the 5 GHz WiFi from my 120 Mbps service. Abysmal performance. the 4 GHz is slower than the 2.4 GHz which makes no sense. The 4th tech I spoke with says the WiFi speed will improve with time. ????!

So-so performance

We periodically lose our internet connection, something that did not occur with our Comcast modem.

A good modem/router combo

Got this to hopefully speed up my gaming. Really did the trick. I get matches way faster with less crashes. Wifi has good range too. Had to contact netgear customer support to get it set up. But after that smooth sailing.

2.4GHz Band DOA

The 2.4Ghzenerators was defective from the power on. My Main PC's adapter is single band 2.4GHz. So I bought a Dual Band Adapter and now I can use the modem on my main PC.
