The product does it's job really well. Setup wasn't confusing, but there was a moment when it wouldn't accept my admin password after creating it moments before. Plenty on indicator lights and ethernet port. Good product.

Slow speed barely worked

After setting up speed was slow worked only 6 hours got very hot and stopped working

Amazing, but not overwhelming.

This modem router is not only easy to set up using the app, it's also very intuitive. The device works right out of the box, and as a DOCSIS 3.0 router it can support pretty much the majority of services out there. Unfortunately though there's a problem with it at times. I do hear some coil whine from the unit. Or maybe capacitors charging or something. It sounds worrisome to hear it make small sparking noises.

Had a more expensive model but this is better. The Mesh 6 wouldn't work with my Sonos system.

Router works wonderfully throughout a 4 level townhouse. No additional mesh needed. Setup instructions when not using the Nighthawk app were not great so suggest using the app or plan on calling Netgear for support. (They were very good.)
