Definitely Worth Getting

I bought this modem/router after my other one got damaged. The old one was also a NETGEAR, but an older model. It was definitely worth updating since this one’s signal reaches farther and has a more aesthetic look.

Good in our 1br apartment

Have been using for about a week now. Seems to do the trick with Xfinity. Our plan is for 100 Mbps and we pull ~70 Mbps downstream regularly. We have a long-ish apartment layout (45' in the long dimension), and even in the bedroom, which is on the opposite side (i.e. about 45' away) from where the modem/router is placed, signal is decent (-60 to -70 dBm, 100% signal). And that's going through a couple walls. A couple minor hiccups with connections in the very first day or so, but it seems all smooth now. Netgear's app is also kinda cool for playing around with settings and assessing signal strength, etc. (Note: app not needed for installation.)

I waited years to get an extender and now I’m kicking myself. Quick and easy to set up and now no more internet blackholes in the house and even extends to the backyard

We have had this modem for 7 months. No problems so far, very happy with the signal strength and speed. We stream multiple TVs at a time along with our phones just fine.

Enhanced my wifi speed!

I love my new netgear router! I was using an old one before that was not delivering the promised wifi speeds and it would be impossible to use when guests were over. The netgear router comes through in its promises and does not falter with the amount of connected devices and in a world where everything requires wifi -- this is undeniably important. Daily life and especially working from home has become a much easier experience.

I love this router.
1. A great deal and reasonably priced for quality unit.
2. Packaged great.
3 Easy hook up, even if not tech savvy.
4. Helpful APP, with a lot of additional options and services.
5. Nice jump in speed and noticable difference.
6. Would strongly recommend to someone looking for a nice upgrade that won't break the bank. You'll be very happy with results.
