It does not hold WIFI on a constant basis. It will disconnect at any given moment.

I hate this thing. Difficult to set up, vague and annoying step skipping directions, App is confusing, I did everything twice and it still won’t work correctly. Bulky and takes up a lot of space. Sending it back. Yuck.

Good but tricky setup

This modem/router was one of the more affordable options which is why we went with it. It was trickier to set up than expected. It said you could just login to Xfinity, put in the new information and it would be setup. That was wrong. I had to call Xfinity, have them test it for about 20 min. When it still didn’t work, Xfinity had to create a new account for me, I had ti download 2 apps to register and download the NetGear app to finish the setup. It took a lot longer than expected. Most of the issues were with Xfinity though and not NetGear. Now it’s running great and I haven’t experienced any issues. As long as you have all your ducks in a row with your account information, I would recommend this product since it doesn’t cost an arms and a leg and works great.
