Purchased the router a week ago; set up went well except had to contact Spectrum to activate with the internet. So far, good, reliable connection with 2 laptops and TV connected.

I was having trouble connecting to internet with my old router. This was suggested to me and now I have a strong, consistent connection, which I need for my work.

Strong fast WiFi when you’re not moving about. But all my device, Apple, Androids, and PCs, all gets confused when in an area, or moving to and from area where WiFi signals are about the same strength coming from the extender and router. It doesn’t know which to pick. Because SSID is the same, I can’t tell my device to use extender as I can with my old extender. And when devices is deciding between extender or router, it basically has no connection. It goes on like that until you move closer to one or the other. Time needed to establish WiFi connection takes longer than my old netgear extender.
