I found this fairly straightforward to set up, and the sound is pretty fantastic. Highly recommend.
I have integrated it with my Samsung 55" NU8000, and I have Klipsch speakers+subwoofer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good sound but not as advertised!

I was sold based on the fact that in the write up it states there are 2 zones. After purchasing I cannot get the zone 2 to work and found out by having to download the manual that it actually needs a pre Amp in order to use zone 2. This is a huge let down and I would have never bought this if I knew that before. Unfortunately I threw the box out so I am unable to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Très simple à utilisation. Branchement rapide, efficace et sans heurt. Possède assez d'entrée HDMI pour les besoins. Seul désagrément, il est foutrement bruyant. Étant donnée que je l'utilise particulièrement pour des film ou jeux vidéo avec casque d'écoute, cela m'est parfait mais lorsque que j'enlève les écouteurs, l'amplificateur est assez bruyant pour importuner.

I bought a home theatre in a box htp 076 and it came with an vsx 326 and I can’t find any info on that amp it shows up as this model are they the same thing ??

Great sound!

I bought this to replace a 3 year old Sony 5.1 channel receiver. I am surprised just how much better the sound is coming from this receiver, using only my existing 9 year old 5.1 channel speakers! I did not need to add ceiling speakers, or additional up-firing speakers to fill my room with Dolby Atmos sound.
I did update the firmware posted on Pioneer’s website, using a USB stick, to support the Atmos Height Virtualizer. The sound is a huge upgrade over the Sony receiver I had. I’d typically rarely hear the rear surround speakers, or even the subwoofer. Now, all speakers are utilized to great effect. Even regular TV watching sounds much better.
I am very happy with this purchase!

Failed after 8 months

I purchase my VSX-534 in April 2019. Yesterday I was listening to music, very not loud and suddenly everything stopped playing. The FL Off light is blinking. (Security) I have no idea what happen. I did all the methods for resetting the receiver but no luck.. now i need to send my amp to Pioneer for a repair... don't buy!

Pioneer VSX-534 5.2 4K Home Theatre Receiver

I purchased this to replace my old 1080p home theatre receiver from a leading name in the industry, which was several hundred dollars more. The first thing I noticed was the sound processing was greatly improved. The VSX 534 also has all the power I need to run large speakers easily. Setup was easy with the set up microphone and the onscreen menu made things very easy to figure out. This is a very impressive receiver that punches well above its weight class and has all the form and function of those priced much higher. For me the best feature is the “Dialogue” Control which allows me to turnip or down the level of dialogue in whatever I’m watching, without changing the master volume. A pretty cool feature, I thought! Bang for your buck, this receiver has to be considered one of the best deals on the market.
