Not Worth it

Purchased at Best Buy. Camera would not detect motion. Second camera would not load without issues. Tried to call support only to find out that long distance charges were required because support does not 'support' Canada in any convenient way. Picture was good when I could get one. Usually was not able to load picture or video. Kind of the point of having this. Would not buy again.

Battery dead in less than 24 hours

Don't believe the claim that the battery life lasts 2 years. Just purchased this yesterday and battery life is already low and there's no way to recharge, you have to buy a whole new battery!

Easy to use and set up

I have to say I quite like this set up. I’m almost ready to give it 5 stars but I can’t only because it seems to still warn me that something is happening even on the grayed our areas I think. Other than that it’s awesome, within 20 mins I was up and running and that included the decision on where to put the camera outside.

Very nice camera Had trouble connecting module After searching web could not connect Had an old wireless camera still connected removed it and had no problems connecting module Batteries only lasted a week Have gotten new ones and they seem to be lasting longer

Nice camera. I run it with my smartthings/hue setup. Can be paired with smartthings home monitoring using an IFTTT applet. Batteries don’t last if in a high traffic area so either make peace with having some good lithium AAs being eaten up every 5 months or so or consider getting a usb cable.

Very good for the price

I have had the XT2 for a few months now. Although it is meant for outside, I have found it more useful inside at this time. Vacation during winter. It tells you temperature also.
While away, a friend checked on my home. In the US I didn't have data but my phone and ipad quickly notified via wifi. So quickly that we were able to speak to her. (She was kinda creeped out).:)
The easy attachment to the bracket is actually a fail IMO. Too easily detached if placed within reach of bad guy. If higher or secured then probably not a prob. Works well. Software is good.

KIND OF OK!

I like the camera because the sensor catches fast, volume is great, the only down side is that all blink cameras should be made to work inside as out, I live in Montreal Canada and the batteries now that it`s cold dont last a week, i cannot put the camera inside because it`s not made to keep inside, i read it after i purchased it on google. Once i received it i installed it at the window inside but wasn't recording nothing and that's when i researched and found out that this camera records only by putting it outside. Every week I have to put 2 new batteries.
