What else do you need in the kitchen? I have never been good at dicing and now it is perfect, fast and easy to clean afterwards. The machine is a beast. Well made and sturdy. Thank you Breville for such a marvelous appliance.
This is a great machine. I was hesitant at first because of the cost -- it is many times more than other highly rated food processors. But in the end I bought it because it seemed to offer much more value for the money. First, the machine is so well made. It is heavy and solid and is not plastic like most others. Second, it comes with every imaginable attachment. This was a big selling point for me because I was looking at purchasing many attachments separately with other food processors. This would have added up, but it also would have meant that I needed to find a way to store all these additional gadgets. The sous chef comes with its own storage case that includes pretty much everything you can think of that you could ever need with a food processor. Third, the 25-year warranty on the motor told me that Breville has the confidence to stand behind their product. And fourth, we eat a lot of sweet potato fries, and this was the only machine I saw whose French fry blade could be used for sweet potatoes. In the end, I could not justify to myself buying any other machine. By the way, it makes really great riced cauliflower and grated zucchini, and it does a good job with the sweet potato fries, though it does cut them smaller than what you would get at a restaurant. All in all, you should be satisfied with tis purchase.
