The Breville Sous Chef 16 Peel & Dice and couldn't be happier with my purchase. It definitely is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. This thing is a work horse. I use it 2 or 3x a day, and cleanup is a breeze. My life is so much easier since I got it. I love that it has a 25 yr. warranty on the motor. I spent a lot of time researching food processors and finally decided on the Breville. They use it all the time on Halloween War programs, which caught my eye. It is whisper quiet and doesn't budge on the counter at all (probably because it is super heavy). I keep all the accessories on a rolling cart so they are always within reach. My only regret is that I delayed purchasing one.
This Breville Sous Chef 16 Peel and Dice is amazing. At first when you open it you think oh my gosh, it has so many parts. But it is not difficult at all and everything is labelled in the parts container. I had to peel 30 lbs of potatoes for a party. It literally took minutes. I put 4-5 good size potatoes in with the potato peeler disc and could not believe what a fabulous job it did. Then in minutes after peeling, they were shredded with the shredding disc. Then I had to dice veggies for a salad. Easy to rinse and clean, easy to use, it is a miracle machine. Not inexpensive but it is heavy duty and to me worth every penny.
Oh wow! This monster is AMAZING! It will do it all and clean up is even easier. We replaced a 25 year old Kitchenaid food processor and can't believe we waited this long. Highly recommend for all levels of home cooks!
Very powerful unit, I love the adjustable chopping blade and the dicer has been wonderful. My only complaint thus far is I wish they would offer the other two dicer sizes at a discount when you purchase this unit.
We haven't gotten to use all of the different functions, as it has so many, but it's so nice to work with so far. It's surprisingly quiet and the fact that it comes with a smaller bowl that fits inside the larger one during use is GENIUS. I also really like that, despite it being plugged in, you have to actually press the power button to turn it on. It's awfully pretty too. Also, the fact that the attachments have their own housing is absolutely perfect.
