Breaks frequently

When the processor works, it is great. I mostly use the shredding blades and never had a problem with that. Using the dual blade is a whole different story. Who would have thought that a high-end food processor would have the blade bend and destroy the bowl making chicken liver pate. After all, it was only chopping liver and butter and you would think that that shouldn't cause any problems. It certainly was never a problem for the much less expensive processors I've used in the past.
The second time this happened, was chopping nuts. In both cases, the bowl was destroyed and the blade bent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This processor really is a mini sous chef. It chops evenly, mixes mixtures like meatballs, wonderfully, and is so quiet and powerful. The case with all your attachments is solid and everything is placed very professionally. It’s a joy to use the machine. Just take care of it, wash everything by hand, read your directions, so you can properly care for it and you will have it for years TK come. So happy this ended up being the processor I purchased. I have wanted one forever and I could have made a more solid choice.

I owrked in professional kitchens for over 30 years, it is the equal of any industrial food processor, but for the home.

I have had extensive experience with RoboCoupe and other industrial food processors. The only difference is that industrial ones have steel bowls and do less. I am not saying they are the same, but the Breville is all and probably much more than a home user could want. Beside Industrial Food Processors cost thousands, and I have seen them break. My only small issue is finding the proper main processor blade replacement. Mine got lost if you can believe it. I am sure I will find the correct one in a day or so. This machine is a beast, has outstandingly sharp blades, and does more than any food processor I have seen. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend one to anybody seeking a HOME food processor, not an Industrial one that runs 6 to 10 hours a day. There was a pile of 4 or more dead robocops in the restaurant I worked in. Nothing is indestructible. I expect this to last for as long as I do, and yes eventually all blades get dull.

Best friend for vegetarian!

This is incredible. I bought the extra 2 dicers. I chose this machine strictly for the dicer which is so fantastic for super fast and easy dicing. I got rid of my mandeline since the slicer with the variable setting and wide shoot handles everything. My comment on tge negative comments which made me delay buying.
Putting away the pieces, the holders are marked with what goes where so not a problem.
Potato peeler does take off potato too but if im in a rush or need to do a lot of perling, i just add another potato in. Great for peeling other root veggies too
Equip hard to clean. No different then other processors.
Storage space. It does take a lot of space. For me not a problem because i keep my appliances in a seperate room since i have a lot of them. I keep the processor in the kitchen and the accessories in the other room since they are light, just bulky.
Get it! You will love it!

I initially loved this food processor, but then when I tried to make pizza dough it just sounded liked the motor would burn out, and I noticed the dough blade lifted. So, I didn't try again for 2 years. Mainly just chopped veggies, but I have all the blades and found that when I'd try to put a new blade in the part that it goes into it was impossible to remove. Also on some instances I can't get the lid to fit on top, over the blade. I have 2 bowls for it, as I bought a spare. More recently I called and spoke with someone, we did a video chat with my dough blade and they were able to see what was happening. Honestly, I want this to work and I'd like Breville to take responsibility and so far no response back to let me know what can be done. I'm hoping this post will get someones attention and I can get help rectifying my expensive machine that doesn't do its job!

There’s a little bit of a learning curve, of course. We are getting better & better at use. I’d recommend a video tutorial.
Awesome quality and features though. So many design innovations compared to other processors. I’m sure we will use it for MANY years.
Hurts a little bit that we had to buy the separate peeler / dicer kit. Should’ve all come together in one package, I think!

we brought it last November, and the container top (tread) is crack. I contacted the Breville. After a number of emails with photos, I was told "The part is not covered in the warranty so there would be a cost for the part." A NEW equipment which I only used 405 times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
