This machine is simply awesome. I make peanut butter 2 pounds at a time; grinding away for 7 minutes to get an ultra-smooth butter. The external surfaces of the machine aren't even warm. Having the small interior bowl for small jobs is very handy as well. I've had this machine for 6 months and there are still 4 or 5 blades I haven't tried yet. BUT - most importantly, the bowl and blades are super easy to clean with warm water and a soft brush. There are no nasty nooks or crannies for food residue to hide out.

First off this thing is a beast. It processes food FAST. Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? Putting the dicing and pealing section back into the storage container is like putting a puzzle back together. I think I have it down but it is not very intuitive. Ok That's a bit weak. They provide the middle size dicer. It leaves onions a bit too large. So, they offer a separate product for the other 2 sized dicers. It is a bit pricey and was mostly out of stock this X-mas season. Other than those 2 issues this thing is amazing. I wonder if they could make a blender top for this unit. That would kill 2 birds with one stone.

Great product but...

While I love this machine so much, the bowl cracked within about a year of use and has now been sold out for a year so I haven’t been able to use my expensive food processor that was a staple in my kitchen. While having a quality product is important, having replacement parts for said machine are equally important so unfortunately due to that I have to give this excellent food processor a negative review. :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since receiving my food processor I have used all functions except the dough blade and everything has worked to perfection. My unit came with the 12mm dicing kit, but I also ordered and received the 16mm dicing kit. They both work brilliantly. The slicing disk with adjustable thickness is fantastic, and the potato peeler saves much time with less waste. I have only used the shredding disk for cheese, and like the other components it performs perfectly. The unit is so quiet in operation and it is very easy to clean all parts by hand washing. I don’t like dishwashers anyway. Great capacity and even though expensive it is a real value in my opinion.

Seems some places buy these for their restaurants... yes that is why the bowls break... duh, buy an industrial. This bowel is really beefy so no way is it going to break in a regular kitchen!!!!!
Okay ONTO MY EXPERIENCE. OMG, I LOVE THIS thing! Ever since we went Plant Based (no meat, dairy, eggs but we will eat honey and use leather) I have been doing a lot of dicing and chopping over the years. I have some fast recipes and some that take FOR.....EV.......ER to prep! One dish I have takes almost 2 hours in prep work.... this reduced the time to 45 minutes (lots of ingredients)! Other recipes that took about 45 minutes I can finish in 15-20 minutes! Like a GOOD TOOL that a mechanic has to make his job easy, THIS TOOL is a must have for your kitchen. I did wince at the price, yet once I had it in my hands, I was like NIIIICCCCEEEEE. Then I used it to make a huge bowl of PICO DE GALLO in 15 minutes, I moved on to 2 more dinner recipes (6 servings each) and before I knew it, I was done! Wow!
I tried the peeler on sweet potatoes... just cut them so they are evenly as long as round.... like little squares. Kale is BEST done with the medium chute. Putting it in the large chute made it quickly start to vibrate because it was too much of the fibrous kale. The kale got stuck in chopping lid area and the blade. Not a bit deal, like seriously. it took no time to get the stuck kale out and move on! Putting it in the medium sized chute kept it away from the outer edge and didn't start to get off balanced as fast. I am actually looking forward to making dinner now, with my chick-powertool! lol Watch those blades!!!

Large processing biwl

I love my breville processor. That is until the large bowl cracked. Now I cannot buy a replacement as they are out of stock. At the price you pay for this processor, you want to be able to get replacement parts. If I am not able to get large bowl soon, I would not recommend buying this product. I would give this 6 stars if I could get a large bowl!!

I have used a Cuisinart for years and this review will compare my experiences. The mini bowl is very convenient and works well. The adjustable slicing blade and the two sided grater are both very nice. The peeler is a bit limited to small, firm, rounded potatoes, and I used it along with the dicer for making potato salad. The machine does have a lot of versatility and is quality made. I was hoping it would not struggle in mixing doughs, But I do not feel I gained any advantage over a Cuisinart.
