Solid Performer some room for improvement with the feed tube material.

I have been using this product for more than two years and have not been disappointed. Breville replaced the processor after the first began to malfunction, no questions asked. When cleaning the plastic parts follow the instructions I didn't and had to replace a broken feed tube. Wash the plastic parts by hand! If redesign is in the future i suggest a heavier duty feed tube.

Not Well Thought Out

I bought the 16 cup food processor about a year ago. I wanted the 12 cup but due to shipping and production issues during the pandemic, the only one available was the 16 cup. It’s not inexpensive compared to the completion and the food processor would be a great product if: the cord wouldn’t get stuck when pushed back into the machine, the small processing bowl could be used without having to put it in the large processing bowl (so you don’t have to clean two bowls), the large processing bowl didn’t crack when putting it on the base, the disc spindle wasn’t impossible to remove during cleanup, parts like the blade plastic and food pusher and other dark plastic parts were dishwasher safe. This product could make it to 5 stars with these changes.

This food processor does so much and more. It can even peel your round potatoes, peels garlic, and maybe even more. Caution though the blades are extremely sharp like razor blades I don’t recommend going anywhere near them without the brush that comes with it I cut myself four times and I finally learned my lesson but all in all this is a great machine and I’m having a ball doing recipes with it. Makes kitchen work so much easier.

Have only used about a dozen times and the senser on the pusher does not work

I bought the Breville Sous Chef 16 Pro because the brand has been excellent in the past and I wanted something that would serve me for years. I have only used it about a dozen times and now, just when I want to grate fresh pumpkin for pumpkin bread, the machine can't sense the pusher and the machine won't work. A real bummer - especially because I gave up my box grater.

Great blander but....

The small bowl is a waste since I have to clean both bowls when I'm done. Also, food gets caught in the handle and there is no way to clean it.

Mold in handle and bowl is extremely fragile

I have multiple problems with this machine. I was so excited to get it, but the bottom of the bowl cracked so easily and the handle has a design flaw such that water gets in when washing it and it's moldy now. This was a very expensive machine to have these many issues so soon.

Bowl Design Flaw

Purchased the Breville Sous Chef 16 Pro. Haven't used it much so far but noticed the bowl has a crack at the insertion point of the drive gear. The crack causes the unit to leak and I am afraid it will only get worse with time. This is obviously a manufacturing defect. Very disappointed with this expensive appliance. I do not recommend this device until Breville comes up with a better design.
