So much room!

I love the french doors which stay open a small amount in case you need something else before they shut. If they stay open too long, the alarm goes off, but you can easily turn it off if you need the doors to stay open. The drawers are huge and the freezer is just the right amount of space for so many things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cannot recommend. Poor design. Loud.

This fridge is poorly designed. For instance, the top shelf is no higher than 12" from the top. This denies enough space for two meaningful shelfs beneath, and wastes nearly an entire ft2 at the top. All tall things must go up there, where kids are more likely to struggle to get at them. There is no reason at all greater flexibility could not be provided. Other fridges allow the top shelf as little as 8" from the top.
The ice maker sounds like a tea kettle going off every hour or so. A screaming whistling noise. The compressor runs loud. This premium priced fridge was supposed to be better than the much cheaper fridge it replaced. It is not.
The text on the control panel is very very difficult to read.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does Not Keep Temperature

The first one we ordered failed two days after receiving it. The second one does not keep proper temperature in either the freezer or the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Counter depth Cafe refrigerator

Our new counter depth Cafe refrigerator has beamed us into the 21st century. We have always loved GE refrigerators, and the Cafe counter depth refrigerator is a giant step us. Incredible lighting. All the space inside is visible. The freezer shelves and drawers so well made—it’s a stunning appliance

I really thought I wanted the French door model but now that I have this I am extremely pleased. It seems well organized and spacious and I am enjoying using it

Interior very nice but humming noises

Just replace my old ge cafe fridge from my experience on side interior did enhance from the shelves and add drawer as well in the freezer i love it but exterior the height is few inches shorter and the door are wide so is difficult to say is a countertop depth fridge when it stick out (my previous fridge the door width was not as wide)
But my only complain is humming noises is loud. I did read about noise which it states for few minute but mine is continues - my previous fridge was was for sure not loud
I would recommend this to a friend!
