Deeply Disappointed with this Cafe fridge

Extremely disappointed with this refrigerator. Despite being less than 2 years old, it's been nothing but trouble. The ice maker and water dispenser seem to have a mind of their own, dispensing randomly, unleashing a torrent of ice or water (depending on what it is set to) to pour uncontrollably onto the floor without a way to stop it. This is not just inconvenient, but poses a risk if you are not home when it happens. The melting mess may damage your floors. The only solution seems to be cutting off the power entirely, and not use the refrigerator. Compared to my previous 20 year-old GE Profile refrigerator, this is a lemon. The reliability and predictability once synonymous with the GE brand is a thing of the past. Buyer beware.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the cafe look! Great product.

We bought the café refrigerator / freezer due to our other GE profile after six years died and it was going to cost us way too much to fix it. I had to buy the café in order to get the same set up that’s in the GE profile had & liked. We spend a bit more but it was worth it. I like the look seems to be doing great so far since we just got it installed this month.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing quality

This refrigerator was a disappointment. The plastic used for the drawers and other parts is poor quality one drawer is broken and the shelf in the freezer is cracked. Also the icemaker has not worked since day one. Shelves are narrow and not at all sturdy. Was not worth the money I spent on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noisy!!

Horrible experience with this refrigerator. Makes a very loud intermittent buzzing sound. GE has been out to fix it 5 times (replacing multiple parts) only for the noise to return within a few months. They've now admitted they can't fix it, but won't replace it either - they want us to buy a new one at an "age related discount". DO NOT BUY THIS!
